Current Full Time Staff Opportunities

    Location: New Life Camp

    Job Summary:

    New Life Camp is looking for a dedicated and motivated individual to oversee our facilities and join our close-knit team of full-time staff. This role is crucial in creating and maintaining a memorable, quality camp environment where people of all ages can escape from their everyday lives. Our ideal candidate will be committed to supporting our mission. As Facilities, you’ll have the opportunity to make a big impact, ensuring that New Life Camp remains a safe, inspiring, and functional space for guests year-round.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the maintenance, upkeep, and improvements of all camp facilities, grounds, and infrastructure.

    • Plan and execute routine maintenance, preventive care, and repairs to ensure a high standard of safety and quality throughout the camp.

    • Ensure all buildings, facilities, and grounds are clean, organized, and visually appealing for guests.

    • Monitor and manage utilities and environmental systems, including water, waste management, propane, HVAC, and other systems.

    • Work collaboratively with the rest of the camp staff to support events, programs, and activities that facilitate a positive experience for campers, families, and groups.

    • Train and supervise seasonal facilities team members or volunteers, fostering an environment of teamwork and excellence.

    • Participate in regular staff meetings and contribute to planning and problem-solving to help achieve camp goals.

    • Responsibility to be on call for groups as needed, providing assistance and addressing any issues that arise promptly.

    • Regular interaction with guests to ensure a positive experience, including offering support, answering questions, and helping meet their needs during their time at New Life Camp.

    Qualifications:

    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    • A team-oriented mindset with a heart for ministry and service.

    • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work alongside a small, close-knit team.

    • Ability to work flexible hours as needed.

    • Commitment to New Life Camp’s mission and Statement of Faith.
