New Life Camp is an independent Christian Camp whose mission is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all campers and encourage them in their daily walk as Christ's followers.
◊ NEWS
God is doing a wonderful work here at New Life Camp in Rose City, MI. We have had a great summer and soon we will be busy attending to the campers that God will be placing in our care during our winter camps. Please be praying now that the hearts and of all who visit the camp will be open to His truths.
Our camp verse is 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a new; creature, old things are passed away, behold; all things are become new." Paul is letting us know that if we come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, we have become a new person. Life looks different now; the way in which we have viewed the world will not be the same. "Behold" Paul says! We now begin to see things through the eyes of Jesus Christ. Our goal at New Life Camp is to provide all who visit the camp with an environment free from the distractions of everyday life. Our hope is that in this place, everyone will grow in their relationship with our mighty God; and if there is no relationship upon arrival at camp, that we have the privilege of introducing them to our Creator. As we continue to seek His will for our lives and for direction of the camp, our hope is that you will continue to be blessed by what God is doing here at New Life Camp.
If you have not had a chance to visit us personally here at camp; we hope that you enjoy your visit through this site and see just how God has used New Life Camp to do a work in all who have attended.

◊ PUBLIC PROFESSION!
Everyone, meet David Jerkins. David is on the left standing next to his young adult leader, Pastor Chris Doak. On November 11th, 2007 David made public his profession of Christ by being baptized in the lake here at New Life Camp. No the date is not a typo, it was cold that morning! Pastor Chris and David have been meeting for a few weeks prior to this mornings event discussing David's renewed excitement for the things of God. Although David had accepted the free gift of salvation earlier in his life, he had not been baptized. Pastor Chris helped David understand that by being baptized he was demonstrating his death, burial and resurrection with Christ. This is the first step of obedience for every believer. David's excitement for God continued as he wanted to be baptized the weekend of their retreat here at New Life Camp. David is now a member of Faith Baptist Church of Waterford, Mi. and pursuing a nursing career at Oakland Community College. Please join with us in praying for David as he continues to be excited about his walk with God. If you would like to see more pictures of David click on the image above.
◊ HOW YOU CAN HELP
If you or your group would like to come to camp to volunteer your time and talents, we have many service projects that need helping hands. Please E-MAIL or give us a call for more detailed information on dates and projects. Or jump to our GET INVOLVED page for more info!
Like many non-profit youth camps, it would be contrary to our purpose to charge campers enough to cover our costs. We are always in need of monthly, annual, or one time supporters to partner with us in helping the youth. Tax deductible donations can be made by sending checks made out to New Life Camp 701 Mayhew Road, Rose City, MI 48654.
Donations made to New Life Camp are tax deductible.
Summer is coming fast, and soon our summer campers will be here. If you or your church group are interested in using our facilities for a Fall Retreat, please contact the camp and we will be happy to assist you in any way we can.
Between camper visits there is a peacefulness about camp that cannot be explained, it's just you and His creation. But knowing that God can use the tranquility of this place to reach a child for all of eternity just makes me want to shout at the top of my voice; "Let the noise begin!"

Seeing kids actually RUN to chapel is incredible! There is an excitement and sense of expectation at this place, a place where young and old alike can come and 'meet with God'.

I attended my first week of camp during the summer of 1973 at New Life Camp. As I recall, I was named "camper of the week" and I even got my picture on the front of the brochure for NLC's 1974 camping year.
My son Ethan came to New Life last summer. He loved it so much that he is coming back this summer and bringing his sister Abigail, and his best friend Gavin. They can't wait.
